Savory Parmesan Shortbread
Ingredients
- 212g all-purpose flour
- 113g unsalted butter softened at room temp
- 113g Parmesan cheese (finely grated)
- 1.5g salt (ΒΌ tsp)
- 1g freshly ground black pepper (Β½ tsp)
- Italian seasoning (optional)
Method
- Mix dry ingredients: flour, salt, pepper
- add butter, cheese, and knead
- after kneading, refrigerate for 45-60 mins
- optionally, one can also roll the dough into a cylinder and cover it with parchment paper before refrigerating. I didn't do so
- Take the refrigerated dough, shape it however you want and then finally bake
- Bake at 375F for 12 mins
